Mining educational way

Endeavor of municipal office in Jihlava city - so called Mining educational way was established in locality Jihlava-Lesnov in 1998. It surveys namely remaining silver glory of Jihlava, which can be found in hundreds in city land register.

Jihlava’s underground

Jihlava’s underground is a significant historical landmark of Jihlava city. In size of underground labyrinth directly under the city architecture Jihlava’s underground is the second largest underground in our Republic after number one in Znojmo.

Observation tower of St. Jakub

In historical records there is evidence about activity of tower – man and his two helpers – they sounded tower clocks, welcome noble gusts by fanfare and guarded city from fire and enemies. The last tower – man leaved tower in 1924, when function of tower – man was dissolved.
